Galt Science Lab Review

Since opening the shop, we’ve had a fair few requests from customers for smaller, simpler science kits so I sure was happy to come across the new Science Lab kit by Galt at the London Toy Fair. This kit is available at a great price and what makes it even better is the fact that it’s suitable for ages 6 and up. With this product being new to the market, I was keen to find out what real kids and parents thought of it. It’s very important to us at Toyville that our products are tried and tested so we set about finding some volunteers to put the Science Lab through its paces.

John, whose son is 6, had the following to say:

“There are lots of ideas and experiments to try and his favourites were the test tube experiments and the balloon experiments. The kit comes with lots of good quality items to experiment with and the instructions are easy to follow. It’s great value for money and will keep kids entertained for hours and I’m amazed at how easy the experiments are to do.
My son was amazed by the balloon and salt experiment where he made the salt float into the balloon. Here are some pictures of him trying out the experiments. We still have lots to try out but overall the kit is great value for money and would keep kids of all ages entertained for hours.”

Sara, whose children are 6 and 8 said:

“This has been such fun! They loved it. Very accessible and the instructions are easy to follow and read. Stickers and scientific note pad also a hit. We were given another as a gift and it’s far too complicated, which puts me off supervising it a bit, but this one is great. A happy 6 year old and 8 year old enjoying it! I’d recommend highly!”
